ANDY REMPEL
Coach Rempel enters his first year with the Sandlot Baseball Academy and has has a wealth of knowledge to share with all students. Andy was drafted by the Seattle Mariners out of high school, but decided to attend Central Arizona JC for his first two years and then transfered to the University of Purdue. Andy primarily works with our outfielders and hitters, and specializes in base running. Andy is the head coach of the Abbotsford Cardinal Senior baseball club and helps with the Baseball BC Selects program each year. We are very fortunate to have Andy aboard at the Sandlot!
Andy has worked with the academy since 2007.
DEREK FLORKO
Coach Florko brings youth and knowledge to our programs here at the Sandlot. Derek was a member of the Abbotsford Cardinal Organization and went on to play college baseball at the Prarie Baseball Academy and Thompson River University. His primary focus is the development of our middle infielders. He has been an assistant coach with our Junior Cardinals program for the past two years and now assists Coach Rempel with our Senior Club.
Derek has worked with the academy since 2007.
